Concorde Battery Corporation is looking for a driven candidate to fill the position of Industrial Maintenance. Successful candidate will perform routine and non-routine repair and maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment under the maintenance supervisor. Candidate will work within established procedures and processes and have a safety-first mindset. Concorde is looking for a candidate who approaches each maintenance issue as an opportunity; an opportunity to contribute, and an opportunity to learn something new every day.

Competencies:

• Performs the work of repairing equipment and general maintenance around the facility.
• Candidate will need to perform the skills including but not limited to; machining, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, cleaning, and painting tasks.
• Follows structured preventative maintenance schedule.
• Exercise discretion to identify projects that need higher skilled individual's services.
• Operate waste water treatment system.
• Comply with all health and safety procedures and processes.
• Participate in all necessary safety trainings/practices.
• Work safely around hazardous materials.
• Ability to efficiently use various power and hand tools.
• Previous experience with a forklift.
• Efficiently drive and pick up material.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
• Welding experience preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in hot and cold environments.
• Punctual and reliable.

Education and Qualifications:

• Manufacturing/plant experience preferred.
• Dedication to excellent attendance.
• Must complete pre-employment physical/drug screen.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, early morning start time.
• Saturdays as required.
• 50+ hours/week.
