Position Duties
- Analysis & Workflows: Collaborate with functional offices to gather requirements, analyze and map business processes, and translate needs into effective CRM workflows or enhancements.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and scheduled reports to provide actionable insights that support recruitment and advising initiatives.
- System Testing & Implementation: Assist departments in evaluating and testing CRM system upgrades and new releases performed by vendors; assess impacts, validate functionality, and support smooth implementation.
- System Improvements & Optimization: Recommend and advise on CRM updates, enhancements, and process improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with institutional goals.
- Integrations: Support data integrations between CRM, Colleague, and third-party applications.
- Liaison & Coordination: Act as a liaison between IT, Recruitment, and Advising, and third-party vendors to coordinate cross-departmental priorities, analyze issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Data Quality & Retention: Monitor data quality and retention; establish standards and collaborate with departments to maintain accuracy, ensuring adherence to FERPA, institutional data governance policies, and Arizona state records retention schedules.
- Departmental Support & Collaboration: Assist the Administrative Computing department with other projects, system support, or initiatives as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Ellucian CRM Recruit or CRM Advise, including configuration, workflow management, reporting, system integration, and familiarity with Colleague or Microsoft Dynamics platforms.
- Understanding of higher education processes in recruitment, advising, and student success.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and reporting/data visualization tools such as Ellucian Insights, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI; experience with programming languages a plus.
- Ability to research, troubleshoot, and resolve software or data-related issues effectively.
- Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users and work collaboratively across IT, Student Services, and other departments.
- Knowledge of FERPA, institutional data governance standards, and best practices to ensure accuracy, security, and retention of data.
- Strong focus on data quality, accuracy, and integrity in all work performed.
