YOU WILL BE: 

The Specialist, eCommerce Merchandising is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of the digital merchandising strategy that fuels category business performance.   This role reports to the Merchandising Manager and will collaborate with cross-functional partners including Buying, Creative, Marketing and Analytics.


 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
 

Merchandising

  •  Responsible for monitoring and identifying optimization opportunities across the website and app product listings and detail pages

  •  Conduct daily quality assurance of the site and app to identify any bugs or friction points that may be impacting business performance

  •  Collaborate with Merchandising Manager to troubleshoot and remediate any merchandising / site experience challenges that arise

  •  Ensure that product detail pages contain all the content needed for consumers to make their purchasing decision

  •  Support the Saks Item Set-Up and Digital Operations teams to ensure that products are activated in a timely manner
     

Reporting & Analysis

  •  Report regularly on product performance including traffic, sales and other key performance indicators

  • Identify category growth opportunities and share with Manager and Director

  • Track competitors and other retail / fashion eCommerce leaders; share findings with team and other cross-functional partners


 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising / coordination

  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience a plus

  • Data and analytically driven, must be proficient in Excel

  • Have understanding and passion for online shopping and fashion

  • Ability to multi-task and achieve deadlines in an efficient and effective manner

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail; highly organized

  • Comfortable to work up to 4 days a week in our Brookfield Place (NYC) Offices
