Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for an Administrative Assistant (Ramp Up Operations) to join our Finance department based in Mobile, AL

An Administrative Assistant (Ramp Up Operations) provides support for the Ramp-Up Project team in the following: office administration procedures, correspondence, business and event arrangements, call screening and prioritization, meeting support and travel requests.

Your working environment:

Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

Your challenges:

  • Organizes presentations and reports on a regular basis. 

  • Apply a variety of tools to collect, analyze and report data in support of the Performance Management System

  • Drafts emails, letters and other correspondence received by the Project Stakeholders for the HO's signature as well as in response to requests for general information

  • Support the HO in preparing documentations & presentations linked to the departments activities 

  • Follow-up on actions requested by or requiring activities by the Senior Director of Line 2 Operations and Single Aisle Ramp-Up to ensure timely review and response.

  • Responsible for capturing Meeting Minutes and distributing as required. 

  • Arranges for ancillary activities such as dinners, visits to suppliers and vendors and related business events.

  • Responsible for booking and maintaining travel schedules and coordinating others traveling with the Director of Site Services to maximize efficiency and ensure travel proceeds smoothly.


 

Your boarding pass:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or Operational Management or a related field preferred. Or a combination of education and practical experience.

  • Candidates must have proficiency using G Suite

  • Previous experience with Concur travel management system preferred
