About the role:

We are seeking a 2nd shift CNC Manufacturing Lead to oversee production within a CNC work cell and ensure precision, efficiency, and quality in every run. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, guiding operators through machine setups, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The CNC Manufacturing Lead will maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards while driving productivity and mentoring team members to build technical capability and operational excellence. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 4:00 pm. to 2:30 am. The pay starts at $29 an hour and goes up from there depending on experience. Our 2nd shift employees also receive an extra $1.00 per hour for working the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee work cell production, including assisting operators, troubleshooting, and ensuring production run rates are met.
• Perform machine setups, cleanups, and preventive maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Train and mentor team members, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain quality control processes, including SPC, control plans, and inspection checks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, processes, and overall efficiency.

Educational Background and Experience:

• Minimum of 2+ years of manufacturing experience with strong technical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques and ability to apply problem-solving methodologies.

• Proficiency in computer applications and ability to read and interpret product drawings.

• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills in a fast-paced team environment.
