Compensation: $65,000 annually + 5% bonus potential| Full-Time

What You'll Do

  • Manage all aspects of catering operations, including planning, organizing, and executing events.
  • Develop menus that meet residents' needs and preferences while also adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Work closely with residents to understand their expectations and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage the catering team, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve catering operations to enhance the customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in catering management or related field.
  • Previous experience in senior living, upscale dining or hotel catering a plus!
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Passion for food and hospitality.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute successful events.
  • Experience managing a team of staff.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Budget-consciousness and results-driven approach to your work.
  • Excellent communication with top-tier customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering software.
  • ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check (State and Federal) and drug screen.

 

Physical and Sensory Requirements

  • This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
