Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist (Flexible Daytime Hours)

This role will support daily AR operations, focusing on processing customer payments, managing lien waivers, and making corrections to customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and prior experience in an accounting or administrative support role.

This position earns a competitive wage of $22.00 - $25.00 per hour. We're looking for someone available 20-25 hours a week during the business day. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately apply and record customer payments and bank deposits
• Review and process lien waivers in a timely manner
• Research and resolve discrepancies on customer accounts
• Make adjustments and corrections in the AR system as needed
• Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding payment issues or documentation
• Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related field
• Basic understanding of lien waivers and construction payment processes (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
