We are searching for a Biomedical Equipment Planner -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assist in the equipment planning for all IDS requests for service (RFS) requests and projects. Responsibilities include providing equipment selection and specifications to assure proper integration of medical technology throughout all phases of new and/or renovation projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•    Assist with the coordination of the project equipment procurement process from pre-purchase through installation. Assists in the coordination of small projects related to medical equipment technology Provide input to budgets of projects that include equipment. Reviews project scope to assure enough funding is allocated for equipment. Develops project-specific equipment lists in compliance with established timelines. Attends project meetings and provides documents and input related to equipment planning.
•    Assist with the coordination of the project equipment procurement process from pre-purchase thru installation. Reviews purchase requisitions to verify completeness including quantities, accessories, options, and/or related components. Coordinates vendor demonstrations.
•    Processes RFS Requests. Receives all Requests for Service (RFS) forms Facilities Planning and Development (FP&D). Contacts users to gain more information on requests. Finalizes scope of the request.
•    Attends Meetings Provides Relevant Information as Necessary. Attends and participates in section, group, departmental, and other meetings as assigned. Arrives at meetings on time, prepared, and offers constructive participation.

Skills & Requirements
•    Required Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
•     An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
•    2 years experience in equipment planning, biomedical technology, engineering, business or a related field.
