Our company is seeking to hire a Customer Service Representative and join a growing automotive industry company.
The Customer Service Representative will provides customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Prepares customer service summary reports. Co-ordinates the handling of difficult and/or unusual situations. Develop the master production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory. Additional duties:
- Pull in Customer releases on a daily/weekly basis
- Perform release comparisons to ensure requirements do not exceed the maximum 15% allowed. Report any/all variances
- Ensure information are verified/adjusted on a weekly basis
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
- Make necessary arrangements to ensure Customers receive parts per release requirements
- Communicate any changes/adjustments with releases to the appropriate personnel
- Participate in daily meetings with pertinent information regarding past due status, Customer requirements and timing of requirements
- Perform required updates in SMART, DDL or any other portals needed, mandated by the Customer
- Ensure ASN’s are transmitted/received by Customers promptly. Report/resolve any issues
- Plans and prepares production schedule for manufacture of industrial or commercial products: Draw up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Makes recommendations on production shutdowns and overtime based on inventory levels, customer schedules and equipment availability.
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operations according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead time.
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Prepares production reports.
- Reviews schedules daily to purge unnecessary quantities due to repaired items being filtered back into process or schedules not completed due to required changeovers.
- Any other duties as assigned.
To qualify for this role you must meet the following:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years or more, progressive customer service or direct marketing experience.
