- Build positive relationships with families through communication such as newsletters and daily updates.
- Foster a safe and respectful environment where children can express themselves and develop confidence.
- Support each child’s unique learning style while promoting self-esteem and independence.
Work Environment Expectations:
- Plan and implement daily activities for young children.
- Ensure all safety and care standards meet Talented Tots Learning Center guidelines and Missouri State regulations.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms and equipment.
- Work respectfully with children, families, and team members to support a positive learning community.
Requirements
- Plan and lead activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
- Create a fun, engaging, and enriching classroom environment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility at all times.
- Follow all emergency and safety procedures consistently.
- Supervise children at all times in every area of the center (classrooms, hallways, restrooms, playground).
- Prepare and follow daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules.
- Encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem solving through age-appropriate activities.
- Read with children and foster a love for books and learning.
- Actively engage with children at their level throughout the day.
- Communicate with children clearly and in a way they understand.
- Build positive, professional relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and classroom activities.
- Maintain open, respectful communication with coworkers and management, sharing ideas to improve the program.
