POSITION SUMMARY
Prepares statements for mail out daily, ensures that the statement pages match the manifest, and are prepared for delivery on time and are accurate. Review requisitions and fill orders for supplies, prepare lists of items needed for purchase orders, and prepare for proper delivery of orders. Assist the Security Operations department by backing up each position within the department to include backing up the courier, as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pickup statements and process them through folder/inserter machines.
- Verify that statements are in sequential number order and match the statement manifest. Maintain spreadsheet detailing mail taken out of mailroom. Initial/sign off on work papers.
- Start machines and observe machine operations to detect any malfunctions. Ensure proper operation and upkeep of mail room machinery. Troubleshoot folder/inserter machines, when possible, to avoid downtime in production while waiting on a service technician or call technician if needed. Clear any jams in folder/inserter equipment.
- Sort all incoming and outgoing mail and deliver to the appropriate departments. Deliver mail, financial institution documents, and supplies to floors of the main bank and between FNB locations as back up the courier.
-Determine the way mail is to be sent and prepare it for delivery to mail facilities.
- Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to items available, clarify unclear items, and recommend alternatives based on availability.
-Forward available inventory items by verifying stock and assemble orders to be taken by bank courier by placing them in branch/department bins for delivery.
-Monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate supplies and notify Purchasing Officer when low so that supplies can be ordered.
-Ensure delivery of service packages including UPS and Fed Ex.
-Ensure that rugs are put out and taken up as needed during times of bad weather.
-Complete required bank wide training on assigned topics.
-Any and all other duties assigned by supervisor.
