We were founded in Lincoln, Nebraska as a small team of two in 2010, offering social media services to brands and athletes. After a decade of growth, we have become a uniquely well-rounded marketing and advertising agency with in-house media, sports, entertainment, and film divisions. 

Mergers and acquisitions over the years (with B2 Interactive, Disconnected Media, Digital Hero Films, Victory Fighting Championship, Hail Varsity, and Parkville Media) have grown our team to over 150 people.

About the Role: 

We are seeking a Video Editor to craft high-quality video content for digital, social media, and broadcast platforms. This role will collaborate with creative teams, producers, and project managers to ensure all video content aligns with brand standards, storytelling objectives, and client goals. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to): 

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for social media, websites, advertisements, and branded campaigns. 

  • Add graphics, motion elements, audio, and visual effects as needed to enhance video storytelling. 

  • Collaborate with producers, creative directors, and other team members to ensure video content meets project goals and brand guidelines. 

  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. 

  • Ensure consistent quality and visual style across all video outputs. 

  • Stay current with video editing trends, techniques, and software tools. 

  • Assist in optimizing videos for different platforms and audience engagement. 

  • Support new business pitches with video concepts and rough cuts when needed. 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Media, or a related field (preferred but not required). 

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of professional video editing experience. 

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills across multiple formats and platforms. 

  • Proficiency in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro (or similar). 

  • Knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, and audio mixing is a plus. 

  • Strong storytelling ability and eye for detail. 

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. 

  • Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background check. 

 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort: 

  • Work is normally performed in a typical office environment. 

  • Will lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds using safe and proper lifting methods.
