Oaknoll is currently seeking a full-time Dining Room Supervisor to join our Dining Services team. An outstanding candidate will demonstrate an understanding of resident-centered care/service and treat everyone with courtesy and respect. Exact hours for this position will vary based on the needs of our Dining Services, and flexibility in availability is key. There will be some evenings, weekends, and holidays required. The primary responsibilities of the supervisor will include but are not limited to: Overseeing front-of-house operations in one or multiple of our dining rooms. Modeling expected service techniques and customer service standards. Ensuring that proper staffing levels are maintained across all shifts and that staff are trained and perform up to Oaknoll standards. Observing guest satisfaction and stepping in to support service when needed. Adhering to all restaurant regulations and proper food safety standards and enforcing them among staff. Meeting with the Director of Dining Services, Assistant Director of Dining Services, and Executive Chef to plan for special events and facilitate communication between staff and management. Maintaining a thorough understanding of Oaknoll's catering menu and the ability to manage catering events.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidates must have 2 years of experience in food customer service or related field. 
  • Candidates must have 2 years of management experience.
  • Candidates must be willing to complete ServSafe certification within 6 months of hire.
