Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our Boca Raton, Florida office. The candidate will be involved with a wide range of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects, which can include treatment, pumping, conveyance and transmission systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- This position includes leading and delivering municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities planning and design projects.
- Task responsibilities will include project management, preparation of assessment and design reports, performing design calculations, equipment sizing/selection, preparation of construction documents, and support of construction management/commissioning needs.
- Field work and site visits from planning through construction and commissioning will be required.
- This position requires experience with project management or the desire to grow into a project management role.
- The position will lead to an increasing level of client development and management commensurate with experience, supported by our local office and firm-wide technical resources.
Qualifications:
- Experience in planning, design, and construction for water, wastewater and/or stormwater facilities
- Proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in AutoCAD and ArcGIS preferred.
- Experience in project management preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficient in English
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Self-starter with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Minimum educational requirements are a B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred).
- Current PE license and the ability to obtain a P.E. license in Florida within six months of employment (if current PE license is from another state) is required.

- Starting pay range for this position depends on skills, experience, education and geographical location
