- Contribute to the development and execution of the sales strategy in alignment with the company's objectives
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales in leading and motivating the sales team, providing coaching and guidance
- Contribute significantly to the growth of the sales pipeline and revenue streams for the Digital Solutions business
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market insights and competitor analysis
- Foster and nurture relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
- Gain a deep understanding of each key account's unique business objectives, challenges, and pain points to deliver customized solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products and services that go beyond client’s needs and expectations
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Leverage market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and identify new business opportunities and assist in identifying and entering new markets and customer pipelines
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments within the renewable energy sector
- Actively participate in renewable energy industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase brand visibility and generate leads
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to highlight the value and benefits of our software hardware/controls solutions
- Collaborate across Sales team in negotiating agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company
- Support in the implementation of KPIs for accurate forecasting and tracking of sales targets
- Utilize CRM systems effectively to manage sales processes and drive efficiency
- Play a key role in the bid and proposal management process, ensuring timely and high-quality responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotes (RFQs), and other commercial opportunities
- Work closely with the VP of Sales in building and leading a high-performing sales team
- Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and growth
- Extensive experience in sales operations or related roles within the renewable energy industry or a comparable technology-driven sector
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably software, hardware/controls within the renewable energy or technology sector
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools preferred
- In-depth knowledge of sales and commercial processes, best practices, and the ability to deliver effective sales strategies
- In-depth understanding of the renewable energy industry and market dynamics
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales plans
- Experience working in a multicultural global environment
