Materials Manager chez Dow Aero, LLC

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain current inventory levels  
• Record, track, and report inventory as necessary  
• Perform physical count of inventory and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports  
• Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; re-stock items as necessary; label shelves  
• Process and document returned items as required following established procedures  
• Work closely with other departments to complete tasks  
• Organize and manage inventory documentation and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations  
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts  
• Ensure that damaged or misplaced inventory items are accounted for and handled properly  
• Process and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions  
• Monitors work in process  
• Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability  
• Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes  
• Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays
