Responsibilities:
The Precision Agriculture Commercial Intern, based out of FMC Tower (Philadelphia, PA), will have the opportunity to work with the Precision Ag Commercial Team, regional sales teams, and a multidisciplinary technology development team to coordinate technology deployment and management across the globe. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of functions within Precision Agriculture including marketing, data analysis, data science, product, and project management. This position reports to the North America Precision Ag. Market Lead.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strong attention to detail, comfort in a dynamic and fast-paced project environment, a high degree of organization, and a strong passion for the utilization of technology to advance agriculture.
You will be part of a growing team that is adopting the mindset, agility and processes of a technology company while drawing on our 100+ years of experience in agriculture.
Expectations:
- Assist in coordinating Precision Ag projects across the globe
- Support technology deployment, user onboarding, and user verification activities
- Assist in identifying and triaging live market issues
- Monitor internal systems to ensure quality data are being collected
- Provide guidance and assistance to internal partners on how to use Precision Ag technology diagnostic systems and dashboards
- Compile key data related to application user activity and pest pressure for reporting purposes
- Assist in coordination of logistics of FMC technology assets
- Ensure work is performed according to FMC’s core values
- Work a hybrid schedule based out of FMC Tower in Philadelphia, PA
Required Education:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program in Agronomy, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Marketing, Business & Accounting, or Technology. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in, or familiarity with, agricultural production systems.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data entry.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrate collaborative, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic
