**This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days per week in office at our Chicago location.**
Syndigo’s nutrition and wellness data solutions give restaurants, retailers, and platforms the high-quality data they need to create engaging consumer experiences across a wide range of health, fitness, nutrition, and retail applications. We depend on our team of registered dietitians to develop, maintain, and monitor the quality of our nutrition data, as well as serving as subject matter experts for data analysis and new solution development.
As Nutrition Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in managing the quality of our nutrition data solutions for restaurants, apps, and retailers, and work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure the highest data quality for our customers.
HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY
- Manage the Data: Serve as manager for one or more sets of nutrition data, ensuring processes that develop/maintain/analyze data accuracy and currency at the highest standards of quality.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate internally and with clients in writing, on the phone/video, and in person as needed to share the impact of nutrition and wellness solutions, advise clients on using the solutions effectively, and handle challenges.
- Identify Risk: Proactively identify issues that present data quality risk, and devise solutions in collaboration with VP of Data Management and other teams.
- Collaborate on Projects. Work with other nutrition data team members and cross-functionally across the organization to meet project goals.
- Support Data Solutions: Work with other Data team members, as well as cross-functional partners, to support the development of data solutions or improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability of current solutions.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a nutrition data subject matter expert internally and with customers as needed.
- Maintain Professional Expertise: Keep RD credential current, and stay up to date on regulatory and market requirements for nutrition and related data.
- Be a Vital Team Player: Help your fellow team members shine by staying connected, sharing ideas, providing support, and collaborating.
- Elevate the Narrative: Develop thought leadership content to support Syndigo marketing efforts.
WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU
- 1+ years of nutrition data experience in SaaS environment, 3+ years preferred
- Certification: Registered Dietitian with current CDR credentials
- Domain Expertise: You are confident in your nutrition knowledge, nutrition analysis, menu creation, and regulations that apply to this domain in the United States and know how to research new questions that arise.
- Data Analysis: Strong attention to detail, experience analyzing large data sets, expertise in Microsoft Excel required, experience in other data analysis tools a bonus.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work cross-functionally and break down silos, to share expertise and build the best solution.
- Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and effectively internally and with customers, in writing, and in speaking.
- Self-Motivation: A proactive, solution-oriented attitude that drives you to deliver results independently and collaboratively.
- Creative Problem-Solving: A desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible, using innovation and technical acumen to create tailored solutions that address specific business challenges.
Your individual compensation within the budgeted salary range is determined based on your skills, education, experience, and internal equity. This position is Bonus Eligible.
