Task
- Oversee preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy.
- Manage the Planful Financial Reporting Consolidation system (Actual, Budget, and Forecast reporting).
- Manage corporate accounting processes, including centralized capital tracking.
- Assist in preparation of the monthly Board deck, including all supporting schedules.
- Manage the monthly close process, including reconciliations and analyses of related accounts.
- Provide oversight to the Accounts Receivable function, including weekly reviews of aged accounts and credits.
- Oversee buying group, rebate, and shelter calculation and payment process in coordination with the Sales team.
- Manage the annual detailed budget process.
- Coordinate the company’s annual audit with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls.
- Coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures related to the financial reporting process.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
- Research and resolve accounting issues, including evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure US GAAP and IAS compliance.
- Communicate accounting issues and evolving guidance to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- 5-7+ years combined experience in the manufacturing industry and Big 4/public accounting (or equivalent)
- Strong technical U.S. GAAP accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this position, the employee’s work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Employee is expected to maintain an organized work area and contribute to the overall decorum of a professional setting. A minimal amount of work will require exposure to the manufacturing facility. Employee is expected to be familiar and in compliance with all plant safety and cleanliness (GMP) regulations. Workdays are generally Monday through Friday; however, the employee is expected to work additional, including weekend hours as required fulfilling job duties.
