Key Responsibilities
Provides leadership and direction to Fleet Managers, Dining and Beverage Operations, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Leads training and development initiatives to elevate team capabilities and maintain high service standards. Manages the training program and career path development for the onboard dining & beverage teams. Oversees the scheduling of the Fleet Managers, Dining and Beverage Operations.
Monitors and analyzes performance metrics, guest feedback, and financial results to identify opportunities for enhancement and innovation. Manages budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to achieve operational and financial targets. Champions guest experience initiatives, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional dining and beverage offerings throughout the fleet.
Oversees all aspects of fleet-wide dining and beverage operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and strategic objectives. Develops and implements operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction across all vessels. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards. Oversees planning and execution of full charters, large groups, and special events. Oversees scheduling for the onboard Food & Beverage Directors.
Acts as a key liaison between shipboard and shoreside teams, facilitating effective communication and alignment of goals. Maintains clear and consistent communication with business partners and project stakeholders that aligns with business strategies and needs. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
At least 5 years experience in cruise ship or multi-unit management experience in Regional Manager, District Manager role in a high-volume restaurant/hotel environment.
Thorough knowledge of spirits, wine and beverage trends.
Thorough knowledge of purchasing systems, records and procedures and equipment.
Excellent knowledge of USPH, sanitation and HACCP practices.
Excellent computer and associated technology skills.
Ability to accommodate extensive job-related travel, while working under timelines.
Project Management, Excellent communication, collaboration, priritization and leadership skills
Physical Demands
Able to work 7 days per week for the length of the assignment.
Must be able to work contract length as required of the business needs.
Must maintain physical fitness to perform tasks associated with job.
Travel Requirements:
Must be able to obtain all necessary documentation/certification and/or requirements to travel and work onboard.
