Unit Description:Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 1,500 video gaming machines and brings the thrill of live thoroughbred racing from April to November and year-round simulcast wagering on thoroughbred and harness racing from across the country. Finger Lakes presents various dining options including a large buffet.
Responsibilities:- Promote positive guest, employee, and public relations at all times
- Provide host/emcee services for promotions and events, including making live announcements, interacting with guests, and assisting with prize forms
- Implement and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and standards, including proper tracking and reporting of all promotions
- Provide administrative support by completing and submitting reports, recaps, files, records, and lists related to events and promotions while maintaining security and confidentiality
- Support departmental operations by maintaining adequate inventories and supplies, and ensuring all products and displays are created to maximize interest and profitability
- Collaborate with team members and other departments
Qualifications:
- No experience or diploma required
- Must be able to obtain a state gaming license
- Experience with Windows products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Weekends, holidays, and swing shift work may be required
