The Clinical Trainer is dedicated to bridging the gap between medical knowledge and practical application within healthcare settings. The Clinical Trainer’s primary responsibility is to design and deliver training programs that equip clinical staff with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality patient care.Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions:

$33.25 - $39.50 - $44.71
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Clinical Operations Manager with clinical protocol development, training programs, professional development, annual employee updates and required tracking.
- In collaboration with the Practice Manager, MA Leads schedules and completes clinical competencies for POCT, Re-processing, Medication Management, Emergency Response.
- Provides quality review of adverse events that pertain to clinical performance with re-training as appropriate.
- Performs Infection Prevention site visits, enters data into the Inspect App tool and ensures appropriate follow-up.
- Maintains records for professional certifications, licensures and notifications for timely renewals.
- Assists with orientation of new staff as it pertains to clinical regulatory requirements.
- Provides monthly reports to Administrative Team as needed.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma (GED) required.
- A degree or certificate in healthcare is required.
License & Certifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant or LVN preferred.
- Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum two years of experience providing clinical education to healthcare workers. In addition, previous experience in outpatient clinic setting performing clinical duties.
- Ability to exercise good judgment
- Ability to prioritize management of activities, and provide continuity in internal/external communications
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Understanding of basic medical terminology.
- Experience in Electronic Health Record, Epic preferred.
- Proficient in PC software including but not limited to Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
