Overview
Reporting to the SVP, Investor Relations, the Investor Relations Analyst:
Supports and participates in numerous Investor Relations activities;
Uses experience and judgement in contributing to the communication to the investment and rating agency communities by working with leadership to develop external reports and presentations and takes the lead in maintaining, updating such reports in a timely manner as appropriate;
Takes the lead in ESG reporting and compliance. Is comfortable in providing thoughts and feedback to senior management and has the confidence to express their opinions in group situations;
Uses project management skills to organize, coordinate and lead key Investor Relations projects and meetings with company leadership.
Location: Hybrid or Remote work arrangement in RGA's Headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, or across the Americas.
What you will do
Support a full range of Investor Relations functions including the communication of financial results to the Investment Community, from analysts to shareholders, to rating agencies. Seek to continually improve processes and the quality of information provided by improving internal sources and using peer analysis. Work closely with senior management to help craft appropriate communications to external stakeholders.
Work with Investor Relations leadership and takes on responsibility to develop external reports such as earnings press releases, investor meeting presentations, and rating agency meeting presentations. Take the lead in maintaining and updating all such investor presentations and uses judgement in making changes as necessary and appropriate.
Leads in the compilation of various internal management reports including Source of Earnings, Capital Report, Corporate Scorecard, IR Quarterly report to the Board of Directors, etc.
Work with databases and other sources of information to update analyst estimates, analyst financial models, create and update peer/competitor analytics.
Identify, document and ensure timely follow through on items resulting from internal and external interactions.
Take the lead in complying with ESG rating agencies and other ESG constituents.
Project management. Use organizational skills to keep key IR projects and efforts moving forward, often involving the interaction and cohesion with other areas of the organization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience
Relevant advanced education in graduate school or through industry education programs (CLU, CFA, FLMI) would be an asset
5 or more years accounting or finance experience
Sufficient exposure to insurance or reinsurance (to appreciate RGA’s role in the financial sector)
Financial services sector experience through coursework, internships or work experience is an ideal asset
Project management experience is preferred
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Basic understanding of the US Life insurance and reinsurance
Ability to foster customer service as needed
Ability to network and build relationships
Advanced oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well received
Ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously
Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to balance detail with departmental goals/objectives
Ability to manage multiple projects or teams and set applicable goals
Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines

Compensation Range:
$104,350.00 - $155,350.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
