We’re looking for a Systems Engineering & NOC Team Manager to lead and strengthen this part of our business (7 members total). This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with deep MSP experience who can both guide and elevate technical staff while driving meaningful change. You’ll be responsible for team performance, process improvements, and ensuring our systems and monitoring tools are optimized to deliver reliable, efficient results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Systems Engineering and NOC teams, providing mentorship, accountability, and direction.
- Develop and grow team members through regular coaching, training, and skill-building.
- Ensure team structure, workload, and KPIs align with business goals and service quality standards.
- Partner with the Systems Administrator to optimize and fine-tune monitoring tools (DattoRMM, Auvik, etc.) for maximum efficiency.
- Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex or high-impact infrastructure issues.
- Drive process and automation improvements across the team
- Identify gaps in skill sets or performance and take proactive steps to address them.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in a senior technical role within an MSP or IT support organization.
- Proven experience managing and improving technical teams.
- Broad technical background in Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualization, Citrix, and security platforms.
- Strong understanding of PSA/RMM tools and infrastructure best practices.
- Hands-on problem solver who can balance technical execution with team leadership.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a track record of driving measurable results.
