Job Description: 

Southern Integrated Solutions and Consulting (SISC) is searching for a proactive and connected I&E Recruiter to join our growing HR team. Reporting to the Director of HR, this individual will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) positions across our construction, automation, and service divisions. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, a hands-on approach to recruiting, and the ability to partner with hiring managers to ensure the right talent is brought into the organization efficiently and effectively. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with department leaders and hiring managers to identify current and future staffing needs for I&E field and technical roles. 

  • Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to attract top talent through job boards, trade schools, social media, and industry networking. 

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer delivery. 

  • Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS and ensure all hiring processes align with SISC’s established standards and timelines. 

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified I&E professionals to support ongoing and future project demands. 

  • Represent SISC at career fairs, technical schools, and industry events to strengthen brand awareness and promote career opportunities. 

Qualifications: 

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within the industrial, construction, or electrical sectors. 

  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring skilled trades and technical professionals. 

Hard Skills: 

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (preferably JazzHR) and other recruitment tools. 

  • Strong understanding of I&E industry roles, certifications, and labor markets. 

  • Skilled in Boolean searches, resume screening, and interview evaluation. 

  • Ability to develop job postings and marketing materials aligned with company standards. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). 

Soft Skills: 

  • Strong communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. 

  • High efficiency and time management skills. 

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build rapport across departments and levels. 

  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
