Operations Manager Full Time- Conrad Orlando

The Valet Operations Manager – is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the valet and parking services at a Conrad Orlando hotel property. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest service, oversees team performance, and maintains smooth, efficient, and safe parking operations in alignment with company standards and hotel expectations. The manager plays a key leadership role in client relations, employee training, scheduling, and performance management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day valet operations to ensure timely and efficient vehicle handling.
  • Ensure all valet attendants adhere to operational procedures and safety standards.
  • Monitor lot traffic, staffing, and client needs to ensure smooth flow of vehicles.
  • Maintain site cleanliness, signage, and proper equipment functionality.
  • Address and resolve operational issues or emergencies as they arise.
  • Hire, train, and supervise valet attendants, leads, and shift supervisors.
  • Prepare weekly schedules and manage attendance, timekeeping, and coverage.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coach underperforming team members, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Ensure all employees are trained in customer service standards, safety protocols, and vehicle handling procedures.
  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for service improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of incident reports and vehicle claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and industry regulations.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as required.
  • Monitor and control operating costs to meet budget requirements.
  • Ensure team compliance with customer service, appearance, and safety standards.
  • Partner with hotel management to align on guest service expectations and special events.
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics such as service times, guest satisfaction, and revenue collection.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to reinforce service protocols and safety procedures.
  • Monitor vehicle traffic flow, space availability, and lot operations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and inventory of parking equipment and uniforms.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality, valet, or parking operations, with 1+ year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Exceptional customer service mindset.
  • Proficiency with parking management systems and basic MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) screening.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Pre-employment drug screening may be required based on client site policy.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and comply with company uniform standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Work in indoor/outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
