The Development Manager works closely with the Director of Development to implement Arrow’s fundraising efforts, as defined by the Chief Development Officer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, maintaining, and managing the donor database; assisting with fundraising appeals; coordinating logistics for development events; stewarding current donor relationships to increase retention and gifts, growing the current donor base, and supporting the Marketing & Development team as needed. Candidate must be a strong multi-tasker and have outstanding communication, interpersonal, and research skills.

- Manage a portfolio of individual, corporate and foundation donors and prospects.
- Conduct research on individual, corporate and foundation prospects are requested.
- Track cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities in CRM.
- Support the Director of Development in engaging religious organizations and coordination in-kind donations.
- Lead Arrow’s Young Professionals group: recruit members, plan events and cultivate deeper involvement with the organization.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide donor-related content for the preparation of the annual report and other projects as needed.
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, such as receptions and gatherings, donor cultivation events, and annual fundraisers.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of Arrow Child & Family Ministries’ mission, programs and impact.
- Represent Arrow at meetings and community events as needed.
- Uphold strict confidentiality in handling sensitive donor information and funds.
- Strong working knowledge of the issues and goals of Arrow Child & Family Ministries.
- Occasionally represents Arrow at meetings and other community events.
- Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
- May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Bachelor's degree in human services, business, statistics or related field required, master’s degree preferred. Fundraising experience with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience required.
