HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Manager, Hospital Development you’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you’ll be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing customized organ, eye and tissue donation programs in hospitals across the DSA. Ultimate accountability is to achieve and maintain high donation rates in hospitals throughout the DSA. Manager participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility for the overall success of the team in achieving departmental goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- People Leadership: Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding, and directing employees to be effective team members. Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Using the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team’s level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards. Manages the daily operations of the department, including departmental planning, deployment of resources, on-going reporting, staff meetings, and general administrative duties. Assures documentation of all hospital activity in the applicable LifeNet Health electronic data system in an accurate and timely manner.
- Strategic Planning: Evaluates and measures effectiveness of Hospital Development initiatives and makes recommendations for current and future projects that will enhance donation processes throughout the Donation Service Area.
- Operations/Continuous Process Improvement: Implements effective and measurable donor hospital programs to ensure optimal processes are in place to increase and maximize donation within the donation service area. Assists hospitals in process improvement through continuous development and refinement of policies and procedures that maximize organ and tissue donation where applicable and in conjunction with industry standards and federal/state laws.
- Hospital Relationships: Fosters strong working relationships with high-level hospital administrators, physicians, nurses, and other associated healthcare professionals.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid State Driver’s License
- THREE (3) years supervisory/management experience with staff
- FIVE (5) years Business, Marketing, Education, Public Relations, Healthcare, Administration, Process Improvement, or related field.
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
- Master’s Degree

- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, implement and monitor assignments effectively to meet the needs of the business
- Time Management: Ability to use time in an effective and productive manner with ability to work under pressure with tight timelines, make critical decision and maintain a sense of focus and urgency
- Analytical: Demonstrates the ability to successfully gather and evaluate pertinent information to draw conclusions and identify potential trends
- Relationship Management: Builds and sustains partnerships across organizational boundaries and functions as well as outside the organization to achieve common goals and outcomes; Ability to build internal and external relationships with staff, hospital and community leaders
- Research/Problem Solving: Makes appropriate decisions regarding the educational needs for each hospital to ensure compliance in the referral of all deaths and imminent deaths in a timely manner. Decisions are made frequently as strategy and initiatives of each hospital changes, consisting of specific educational efforts and follow-up.
- People Development: Actively engages in talent management practices (selection, promotion, development, and engagement) to cultivate a workforce that is well aligned with current and emerging talent needs

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $100,306 to $133,741/annually
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
