Non Tenure: Visiting Professor, Sport Management chez Texas A&M University

The Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management, in the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University seeks to hire a highly qualified sport management educator for the position of Visiting Professor. The position will be a part-time/temporary (Non-Tenure), 5-month academic appointment beginning January 1, 2026.  Salary and benefits are competitive.  The successful candidate will provide students with access to high impact teaching practices and industry-specific experiences aimed at increasing student success inside and outside the classroom.

Responsibilities: Candidates are expected to contribute to the teaching of sport management courses. This involves maintaining a part-time remote teaching load. Responsibilities could include teaching online SPMT 646 Ethics in Coaching and others as assigned. Successful candidates will be responsible for meeting department, college, and university service expectations. 

Appointment: Five-month, remote, part-time/temporary position with a starting date of January 1, 2025. Salary, benefits, and compensation packages are highly competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Candidate must have a terminal degree in Education and at least 6 years online education experience with Texas A&M University, Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management. Candidates must have the ability and/or experience to be effective teachers and mentors in formal and informal settings. Candidates must demonstrate expertise related to ethics in athletic coaching and best practices in athletic coaching.
