Join a team that keeps our community moving.
At Ride Connection, we believe everyone deserves safe, reliable, and accessible transportation—no matter their age, ability, or background. We’re a local nonprofit with a big mission: connecting people to life by providing transportation options that empower independence and inclusion.

We’re looking for a Fleet and Asset Manager to help us care for the vehicles, facilities, and systems that make this mission possible. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do

As the Fleet and Asset Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations efficient, safe, and compliant. Working closely with the Asset and Contract Director, you will:

Fleet Management

  • Oversee all aspects of the agency’s vehicle fleet, including procurement, maintenance, licensing, insurance, and replacement planning.

  • Develop and track preventive maintenance programs to ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and compliance with ADA and other regulatory requirements.

  • Manage data on vehicle usage, performance, and costs to guide decision-making and long-term sustainability.

  • Coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and vehicle relocations.

  • Support compliance reporting for local, state, and federal regulations, including FTA requirements.

  • Collaborate with service partners to ensure fleet readiness and maintenance compliance.

Facility and Asset Management

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of Ride Connection’s facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking facility and asset life cycles, including procurement, inventory, and disposal.

  • Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance for buildings, equipment, and systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security.

  • Manage relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality work, cost-effectiveness, and timely service.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, insurance requirements, and local, state, and federal regulations related to facilities and assets.

  • Support long-term facility planning, renovations, and improvements to align with organizational growth.

Leadership and Compliance

  • Supervise staff, providing training, performance feedback, and professional development.

  • Participate in Ride Connection’s Safety Committee and lead reporting to regulatory bodies.

  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of fleet and facility costs.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports to meet organizational and funder requirements.

Every day, your work will help ensure our vehicles, facilities, and systems are ready to serve the people who depend on us most.

What You Bring

We’re seeking someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative spirit. You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or five years of progressively responsible experience in fleet operations, maintenance, or management.

  • Experience in facilities and asset management.

  • Strong skills in organization, data tracking, and problem-solving.

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to fleet and asset management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you enjoy working with a diverse team.

  • A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Ride Connection standards.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Five or more years of experience in fleet or maintenance management, ideally involving accessible or paratransit vehicles.

  • Familiarity with ADA requirements, safety regulations, and facility compliance standards.

  • Certification such as ASE or NAFA’s CAFM.

  • Experience in nonprofit or public transportation settings.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

At Ride Connection, we don’t just move vehicles—we move people and possibilities. You’ll join a mission-driven organization where collaboration, respect, and integrity guide every decision.

We offer:

  • A competitive salary of $69,846 – $87,297 annually.

  • A supportive, inclusive, and community-centered work culture.

  • Opportunities for growth and leadership.

  • Comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

  • The chance to make a tangible difference every day.
