Street Maintenance Worker- Public Works chez City of Bowie

The Street Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing manual to semi-skilled labor in construction, maintenance, and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and storm drains.

Duties also include general maintenance activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
• Experience in street maintenance and/or construction-oriented tasks
• Valid driver’s license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience with snow removal, concrete and/or asphalt work

SALARY: $18.79/ HOURLY
