JOB FUNCTIONS
- Receive, process, and finalize court orders, including, garnishments, levies, and liens.
- Review and process Power of Attorney requests.
- Complete subpoena and summons research.
- Assist with Trust and UTMA document and account reviews.
- Assist with probate document reviews.
- Assist with complaint tracking and review process.
- Complete marketing reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry best practices, and credit union policies.
- Assist members and staff with compliance related questions and research.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Compliance Officer or designee.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE
- Three or more years of financial institution experience with basic knowledge of state and federal credit union regulations.
- An understanding of credit union operations, policies, and procedures.
- Experience using financial institution data systems to conduct transaction research.
- Thorough knowledge of banking products and services.
- Ability to conduct in depth, accurate, and timely research.

- Must be ethical, principled, responsible, and honest.
- Must possess high degree of confidentiality and discretion in words and actions.
- Must possess above average analytical abilities and possess the incisiveness to ask discerning questions.
- Must be able to work and effectively communicate with members, third parties, and staff. Must possess above average verbal/written communication and listening skills.
- Must be able to follow up effectively; have a keen eye for detail; follow department and credit union policies and procedures; perform job functions with minimal supervision; meet deadlines; manage time effectively; and take responsibility for own actions.
- Must be able to multitask and effectively manage multiple projects and responsibilities at the same time.
- Must be able to remain professional, calm, and positive during difficult interactions with members and various third parties.
- Must have above average computer skills with emphasis in Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
An associate’s degree or higher in a business-related field or an equivalent field. Three or more years of financial institution experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the following physical activities within varying environmental conditions:
- Occasionally remaining in a stationary position which may be standing or sitting for a prolonged period.
- Occasional travel or moving from one office location to another or from one department to another at the headquarters building.
- Occasional lifting, moving, or adjusting objects up to 20 pounds.
- Constant communication with others through various channels, including verbal, email, and chat of which the last two may require consistent use of a keyboard and mouse or another electronic device.
- Work will be in a commercially reasonable temperature-controlled environment.
- Occasional temporary exterior site review which could be in outdoor elements of wind, rain, or snow.
