Position Overview:

This role focuses on driving enterprise-level growth through a strategic, consultative approach to business development. It combines proactive lead sourcing, outbound engagement, and social selling to identify and convert high-value opportunities. Success in this position comes from building and nurturing long-term relationships, developing partnerships, and managing complex sales cycles from discovery through to negotiation and close. The role requires working closely with key stakeholders across high-risk and regulated sectors, ensuring compliance while delivering tailored payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full accountability for achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Prospect potential customers through social selling, telesales, email marketing, and events
  • Conduct client demonstrations and discovery meetings
  • Deliver tailored payment solutions that meet the needs of merchants and acquiring partners
  • Create bespoke commercial proposals that align with client requirements
  • Managing complex sales cycles from discovery through to negotiation and close.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of acquiring, payments technology, and industry trends
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the verticals in which Axcess provide payment solutions
  • Leveraging new and existing networks to accelerate market penetration and revenue growth.

Requirements

This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who excels in strategic, consultative sales and enjoys building long-term commercial relationships. It suits someone who thrives in complex, high-value environments, confidently managing extended sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. The position is well-suited to individuals with experience in payments or fintech, who can combine strong commercial acumen with an understanding of regulatory requirements and high-risk sectors.

  • Proven track record of sales performance, with at least three years' experience in a corporate sales role.
  • Experience at a Payment service provider, Acquirer, ISO, Gateway or Payment facilitator sector.
  • Driven by targets, motivated by performance, and confident speaking with senior decision-makers
  • A problem-solver who takes initiative and finds ways to get results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
