We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Specialty, Governance Team. This is a hybrid role and can be based from either our London or Norwich offices but there is an expectation to be in both offices at least once per week.

Business Governance Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically minded professional to join our Marsh Specialty Governance Team. This role supports the Head of Specialty Governance and the wider Governance team by organizing and advancing business risk and control projects, managing governance processes, and providing insightful management information (MI) and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently within a global insurance leader.

We will rely on you to:

  • Support the Specialty Governance team on projects and ad-hoc initiatives.

  • Collect, collate, and validate critical business data to support governance activities and project advancement.

  • Manage access controls by verifying system access and ensuring appropriate permissions.

  • Develop and provide MI support, including data quality verification, trend analysis and report validation.

  • Develop skills and provide first-line support for tools such as PowerBI.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively across teams to ensure data consistency and raise discrepancies as needed.

What you need to have:

  • Some experience in the insurance industry or a related analytical role (preferred).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate and manipulate data sets into business-ready insights.

  • Some experience supporting or understanding project work, without direct project management responsibility.

  • Excellent communication skills and an inquisitive nature.

  • Ability to work under own initiative and collaboratively within a team.

  • Experience or willingness to develop skills in MS365 applications

  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks with enthusiasm and a strong commitment to learning and professional growth
