Objectives of the Position:

  • Lead the global strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of HR quality, risk, and knowledge management across all regions and HR functions.
  • Serve as the global subject matter expert and community leader, setting direction, standards, and frameworks for quality, risk, and knowledge management in HR.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, risk awareness, and knowledge sharing throughout the global HR community.

 

Responsibilities:

Governance & Strategy

  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine global frameworks, policies, and standards for HR quality, risk, and knowledge management.
  • Set strategic direction for global HR quality, risk, and knowledge initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate governance and compliance requirements.
  • Lead global governance forums and communities of practice for quality, risk, and knowledge management, driving engagement and best practice sharing.

 

Quality Management

  • Oversee the design and deployment of global HR quality assurance frameworks, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance across HR functions, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and stakeholder feedback.

 

Risk Management

  • Lead global HR risk assessment and mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive identification and management of risks across all HR projects and processes.
  • Establish and maintain global risk registers, reporting mechanisms, and escalation protocols.
  • Advise senior HR and business leaders on risk exposure, mitigation plans, and compliance requirements.

 

Knowledge Management

  • Own and drive the global HR knowledge management strategy, ensuring effective capture, curation, and dissemination of critical HR knowledge.
  • Oversee the development and governance of knowledge-sharing platforms, tools, and processes.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, facilitating global knowledge-sharing events, training, and workshops.

 

People Leadership & Regional Oversight

  • Directly lead, coach, and develop regional quality, risk, and knowledge experts based in Montevideo, Kuala Lumpur, and Berlin.
  • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support professional growth for regional team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture across the three hubs, ensuring alignment with global strategy and consistency in execution.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, knowledge exchange, and cross-hub collaboration to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the escalation point for regional issues, supporting resolution and ensuring best practices are shared globally.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Community Leadership

  • Act as the global lead and primary point of contact for HR quality, risk, and knowledge management communities.
  • Engage with regional and functional HR leaders to ensure local adoption and adaptation of global standards.
  • Represent HR in cross-functional governance bodies and external benchmarking initiatives.

 

Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure robust monitoring and reporting of quality, risk, and knowledge metrics to senior leadership and relevant governance bodies.
  • Provide strategic advisory on audits and reviews of HR processes for compliance with quality and risk standards.
  • Document and share lessons learned, best practices, and improvement recommendations globally

 

Requirements:

  • Min a Bachelor of degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Quality Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Min 8 years’ experience in HR quality, risk, or knowledge management - least 3 years in a global or regional scope. 
  • Deep understanding of HR processes, quality management principles, risk assessment methodologies, and knowledge management practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in people leadership, including coaching, performance management, and team development across multiple locations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills - experienced with data management and data driven decision making.
