Your role and responsibilities
- Lead and develop the business development team to deliver sustained growth across all segments and regions
- Translate the company’s commercial strategy into actionable market engagement plans
- Prioritise markets and prospects to align with company capabilities and growth potential
- Manage the complete business development process from opportunity identification to deal closure
- Build strong relationships with potential customers and key industry stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with Product Development, Operations, and Finance to ensure commercial and operational viability of new opportunities
- Coordinate with segment Vice Presidents for effective integration of new customers
Your profile and qualifications
- University degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is advantageous
- More than 10 years’ relevant work experience, including at least 8 years in senior leadership roles within B2B business development, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial sectors
- Strong track record in managing complex sales cycles and building high-value pipelines
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
- Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills
- Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives
- Highly collaborative and resilient with excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe
