Role Overview 

Building from our core expertise in Options trading, we are now expanding our Futures trading capacity. We are actively looking for an experienced Senior Futures Trader to join our team and make significant contributions to our continued growth. This is a unique opportunity to take a significant role in the growth of our derivatives business and work collaboratively with a highly skilled technology and trading team. You will be responsible for the management and operations of the futures book as well as taking a leading role in the specification of technological improvements.    

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage our crypto futures book supported by a 24/7 team 
  • Run, monitor, and optimize systematic trading algorithms 
  • Contribute to strategy development and trade idea generation 
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and fellow traders in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment 

Requirements

  • Strong academic background in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering) from a top tier university 
  • At least 5 years of futures trading experience in a hedge fund, prop desk or market-making firm. At least 3 years of crypto futures trading 
  • Proven track record of generating consistent profits over time 
  • Experience with systematic or semi-systematic strategies 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for markets 
  • Strong English language communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Highly collaborative, responsive and responsible 

Preferred / Desirable Experience 

  • Experience in trading options considered an advantage 
  • Coding knowledge and experience considered an asset
