Work hours: Full-Time; Day Shift; 40 Hours (Monday - Friday; 0800-1630)

 

Laboratory Department highlights:

Medical Laboratory Scientists and Medical Laboratory Technicians will report directly to this position.

Here’s What You Need 

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological science is required.
  • 5 Years under the direction of an MT or Pathologist Required
  • 2 Years leadership experience Preferred
  • MT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
  • CT(ASCP) - Cytotechnologist Upon Hire Required Or
  • HTL(ASCP) - Histotechnologist Upon Hire Required Or
  • MLS(ASCP) - Medical Lab Scientist Upon Hire Required Or
  • SCT(ASCP) - Specialist in Cytotechnology Upon Hire Required Or
  • Other equivalent of one of the above including AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS-CA, FL, NY state license, Phillipine Board Upon Hire Required Or
  • HT(ASCP) - Histotechnician if supervising Histology within Anatomical Pathology Upon Hire Required

 

What You’ll Do

  • Leadership/Staff Supervision
  • Oversees work schedules and personnel assignments for the department
  • Delegates employee responsibilities as needed
  • Lab Operations and Test Procedures:
  • Assumes and performs complex laboratory procedures when needed
