The Infusion Center infuses non-oncology medications and also injections. This role may require travel to our other centers in Boise or Nampa. The Infusion Center CNA is responsible for checking in patients, rooming them, turning over patient rooms, and assisting RNs. Tasks may include phlebotomy if trained.
Medication and injections are given for patients with chronic health conditions, many of them auto immune. Infusion also transfuses blood and provides IV hydration to try and keep people out of the ED and hospital.
What you can expect from this role
- Part Time position available with our Infusion Center in Meridian.
- 60 hours per two week pay period - Shifts are typically 10 hour shifts
- 0700-1730 or 0830 -1900
- One weekend requirement every 4 weeks
- Shift differential pay offered
- Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education
Qualifications: CNA
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
