Anticipated Schedule

• This is a full-time position
• 4-day work week: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Compensation

• Starting at $22–28/hr, commensurate with experience

What You’ll Do

As a Veterinary Technician Assistant – Cardiology, you will support the cardiology team in delivering efficient, compassionate care through advanced diagnostics, appointments, and follow-up support.

In this role, you will:

• Assist with patient appointments, including obtaining complete medical histories and supporting exams
• Help with diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, ECGs, and thoracic radiographs
• Restrain and handle canine and feline patients safely and confidently
• Assist with medication administration, patient monitoring, and outpatient treatments
• Provide patient care responsibilities including husbandry, laundry, walking dogs, and cleaning kennels
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, including providing patient updates and discharge instructions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in exam rooms and shared areas
• Help stock supplies and assist with department scheduling and patient flow
• Accurately document care and communication in medical records

Requirements
