Description

MPOWER is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapist to fill the role of Clinic Manager at our Franklin, TN location. Physical Therapists at MPOWER Physical Therapy work in a collaborative environment alongside personal trainers, massage therapists and nutrition specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients beyond the norm of a typical physical therapy experience.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Lead, Manage, Staff and hold Accountable assigned clinic therapy team:
  • Recruit, hire, onboard and mentor a therapy team who are committed to our company Core Values
  • Maintain appropriate levels of staffing to meet the needs of the facility including coordinating time-off requests and securing appropriate PRN coverage
  • Meet or exceed monthly volume, revenue, productivity and profitability goals and benchmarks for assigned clinic through evaluation of company metrics and data
  • Operate and enforce all systems, policies and processes developed by Leadership
  • Frequent and regular in-person communications with our partner physicians
  • Ensure high quality, safe therapy treatment is delivered to our patients
  • Conduct quarterly conversations, performance, and compensation reviews of direct reports in a timely manner to ensure quality of staff performance and satisfaction
  • Promptly, candidly and professionally address deficiencies in staff performance or behavior
  • Conduct efficient and productive weekly clinic meetings using the Ninety platform
  • High level of attention to ensuring assigned clinic and equipment is clean and properly serviced for safe operation
  • Address patient complaints in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Ensure appropriate integration of complimentary MPOWER services- Personal Training, Massage and Nutrition
  • Complete timely and accurate payroll functions
  • Serve as the primary resource of assigned clinic for all issues related to the proper appearance, function and maintenance of the facility
  • Properly assesses facility issues identified by team members
  • Submits a ticket for all facility issues to the appropriate Property Management resource
  • Informs direct supervisor and relevant team members of any facility issues that may affect operations
  • Coordinates with Property Manager as needed to ensure all work is completed
  • Ensures proper coverage of the activities mentioned above while out of the office
  • Completes Weekly Walk-Through Checklist and submits to Director of Therapy Operations
  • Role as a treating Physical Therapist
  • Ability to manage multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and treatments including manual therapy techniques and appropriate therapeutic exercise prescription
  • Accurate and timely documentation and billing to support reimbursement for treatment interventions
  • Provide home education materials to all patients through practice preferred software
  • Maintain patient caseload sufficient to meet company productivity standards
  • Consistently meet company productivity standards for units of service per encounter
  • Consistently meet company productivity standards for cancellation and no-show rates
  • Maintain current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Tennessee and meet licensure requirements for continuing education hours
  • Maintain agreed upon clinic schedule
  • Assist Director of Therapy with projects as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 


  • Assigned Clinic Physical and Occupational Therapists
  • Assigned Clinic Therapy Technicians
  • Assigned PRN Therapy Technicians




KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university preferred
  • Current Physical Therapy license in the State of Tennessee preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university in healthcare business or related field and/or one or more years of physical therapy management experience in a medical practice or hospital setting preferred
  • Excellent ability to effectively manage teams to goal attainment
  • Knack for problem solving and process development
  • Proven skill with appropriate delegation and supervision of direct reports
  • Excellent follow up skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Firm command of MS Office Suite, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management (PM) platforms and other key applications
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Calm, professional demeanor with ability to deal with difficult situations and complex problems
  • Strong understanding of the company’s services, operations, and culture
  • Ability to maintain the utmost level of confidentiality of records and all types of communication and information
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare and fitness industries
  • Excellent ability to lead and participate in all meetings in a professional and thoughtful manner
