Job Summary:
The Electronic Health Record (EHR) Workflow Manager is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing EHR workflows to improve efficiency, quality of care, and patient outcomes. This role serves as a bridge between clinical staff and administrative or technical teams, ensuring that processes are streamlined, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current EHR processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and administrative personnel to align EHR workflow changes with clinical needs.
- Monitor EHR adoption and adjust processes based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Facilitate training with external support team, learn applications, tools, and processes that assist clinicians with the management of data in patient care and the provision of health care.
- Assist with application implementation and system customization.
- Provide technical support and report application errors in collaboration with IT staff.
- Supports collection and reporting of quality data and information.
- Recommends innovative ideas, processes, and/or procedures for enhancements, additions, and modifications to improve existing systems.
- Work with other members of the team to implement solutions to system related problems to minimize operational impact.

Education and Experience:
- Three to five (3-5) years experience in healthcare required.
- Understanding of medical terminology and outpatient clinical workflows is preferred.
- CMA preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) desired.
- Knowledge of NextGen program software is desired.
Physical Requirements:
- Position may require travel between associated clinics
- May be up walking on feet up to 8 hours per day
- May need to sit for up to 2-6 hours per day
- Full range of body motion including handling and lifting
- Light to moderate work with 30 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry
- Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing
