Bone Grind Trainee chez Creekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC

JOB SUMMARY
 This position is responsible for learning to operate the Bone Process to ensure uptime for production, quality, and yields, while ensure the safest work environment possible. The Bone Process Trainee is the starting point for those with no experience who want to learn the process and grow a career with Creekstone and work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Learn the operations of centrifuges, Grinders, bone drier, load out area, meal grinder, Gel bone operation 
• Support operation of the process to produce product that is within specification
• Learn about yields by gaining a clear understanding of yields of product
• Assist where needed, as directed by department management
• Adhere to Safety Program’s rules and regulations 
• Physically capable of performing job duties while wearing a Respirator in certain situations
• All other duties as assigned

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Climbing, stooping, and crouching occasionally; Standing for 8 or more hours per day; Walking frequently; Pushing, pulling, and grasping to move materials in the warehouse; Must be able to lift 0 – 80+lbs; Able to work in hot and cold environments; Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) occasionally – hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair/beard net, etc.
