Summary of Job Description:
Incumbent is responsible for the professional management of all assigned properties and personnel, including maintaining and improving real estate assets as well as monitoring the fiscal performance of the properties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of other desktop applications
- Knowledge of local real estate and housing markets, preferred
- Ability to read and interpret laws, policies, procedures, and tribal ordinances
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and complete assignments in a timely manner while managing multiple duties and responsibilities
- Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- High degree of emotional intelligence with the ability to resolve disputes tactfully
- Ability to work cooperatively with stakeholders to achieve results while maintaining and building positive relationships
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
~AND~
- Real Estate license and Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, property management, or related field
- Four (4) years’ experience in real estate or housing property management, including working knowledge of property insurance, and tenant relations
- Experience with local building codes and regulations governing single-family and multi-unit housing
- Experience managing large budgets
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience

- Associate’s degree in business administration, property management, or related field
- Six (6) years’ experience in real estate or housing property management, including working knowledge of property insurance, and tenant relations
- Experience with local building codes and regulations governing single-family and multi-unit housing
- Experience managing large budgets
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience

- High school diploma from a technical school
- Eight (8) years’ experience in real estate or housing property management, including working knowledge of property insurance, and tenant relations
- Experience with local building codes and regulations governing single-family and multi-unit housing
- Experience managing large budgets
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience
~AND~
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- Ability to work in adverse conditions such as extreme cold and extreme heat, dust, noise, and wetness
- Ability to perform essential duties with physical demands such as lifting/moving, pushing/pulling, kneeling, climbing, crouching, and reaching
- Ability to perform around mechanical hazards, moving objects and mechanical equipment
- Ability to work as required for emergencies, snow/ice control and special events
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds
- Successful candidate must pass the background check in accordance with the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Protection Act (ICPA) and Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA)
- No felony convictions or misdemeanors involving moral turpitude or issues of integrity
