At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We also offer unique services like our nuclear stress testing facility.
Our physicians, specialists and credentialed health care providers are assisted by 175 trained support staff. We do our best to take care of everything for our patients – records, scheduling appointments, coordinating with providers and specialists, and each of our offices has laboratory centers for tests and blood work on site.
We are seeking to add a Quality / Risk Management Clinical Coordinator to our team! Our ideal candidate is an experienced Medical Assistant with a background in Internal Medicine or Primary Care. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and willingness to be a team player are a must!
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: 120 Westminster Pike, Suite 104, Reisterstown, MD 21136
The Quality / Risk Management Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the following duties, but not limited to:
- Providing an experience of efficient yet nurturing environment for patients and families via phone and in person in a pleasant manner.
- Assisting with the coordination of Transitional Care Management appointments, scheduling Annual Wellness Visits and other follow up appointments.
- Supporting Practice Administrators and the Risk Management Department in meeting quality metrics.
- Utilizing the electronic insurance verification system to check patient eligibility/ correcting eligibility issues before scheduled appointments.
- Ordering patient lab work as directed by the primary care physician to close gaps in care.
- Working with team members to complete daily reports and other patient care campaigns as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Experience in Primary Care or Internal Medicine is REQUIRED.
- Medical terminology.
- Knowledge of anatomy and chronic conditions is REQUIRED.
- Basic arithmetic and money calculating skills.
