Job Description
A. Job Purpose
• Assistant - Quality will support the QM to execute the quality management system and conduct engineering audits in the FTO.
• Monitor training and engineering operations to check compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
B. Key Accountabilities
• Assistant - Quality will support the Quality Manager to:
o Define the quality organization and procedures necessary to comply with regulations
o Preparing and implementing quality audit program
o Ensures availability of skills and resources necessary to implement the quality system or the organisation review system
o implement by performing the necessary audits and inspections.
o Implement monitoring actions (audit planning, checklist, notification of possible nonconformities, etc.) and ensures that any nonconformities found are dealt with
o Implement for authorisation procedure and issue/renewal of authorisation to the certifying staff and crew
o Coordinate the organisation’s audits carried out by the authority (DGCA)
o Implement the event reporting system set up within the organisation and notifies the authority (DGCA) when necessary
• Assistant - Quality will support development, regular update and implementation of the quality management system for Engineering as per the AOC and DGCA guidelines
• The role will work with departments to comply with quality regulations by performing the necessary regular audits and inspections
• Support QM in audits of instructional and engineering departments to identify areas of improvement and manage implementation of them via Flight Instructors and AMEs
• Support QM to execute quality improvement programs for all at site to understand any areas of improvement found during quality audits or to achieve industry best standards
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

F. Educational and Experience Requirements
Education requirements
Minimum
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or licensed AME
Desired
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering
Experience
Minimum
• 5+ years of aviation experience and minimum 2 years of experience in engineering and audits aviation safety compliances
•Prior experience in DGCA-approved positions in FTOs/ ATOs/ Airlines/ NSOPs in India as a quality auditors
•Prior experience in implementation of quality assurance systems of FTO/Airline Operator/Other Operator
•8+ years of aviation experience and minimum 4 years of experience in audits and quality assurance in aviation
Desired
