POSITION: Child Nutrition Bookkeeper (12 months yearly)

SALARY: (Grade 61)  -  $2,908.96 monthly – Starting Salary

WORK LOCATION: Child Nutrition Department 

REPORTS TO: Child Nutrition Director 

GENERAL DUTIES: To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office so that the school’s maximum positive impact of the Education of children can be realized.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma.
• Post-secondary study in Business/Office Management preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of common office equipment and machines which includes computers.
• Bookkeeping and clerical experience in Child Nutrition required.
• Knowledgeable of Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable in Child Nutrition.
• Prepares and maintains payroll for Child Nutrition Cafeteria Managers / Cafeteria assistants.
• Prepare monthly inventories for the Child Nutrition cafeterias for accuracy.
• Maintain smallware request orders and creating purchase orders for cafeterias.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and the Internet.
• Ability to work with people; strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Performs other such duties assigned by the Child Nutrition Director
