Hygiene Specialist/ District-wide - 6 hours/day chez Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Director of Student Services or a designated site administrator, the District-wide Hygiene Specialist provides support for student hygiene, personal care, and wellness needs across all grade levels and school sites. The specialist ensures safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate hygiene assistance for students, including those with special health or developmental needs. The position promotes health, dignity, and independence in students by maintaining sanitary environments, assisting with hygiene routines, and collaborating with staff, families, and healthcare professionals as necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED required. Coursework or certification in child development, healthcare, or special education preferred. Previous experience in student care, hygiene assistance, or healthcare settings strongly desired.
