Major/Essential Functions
- Provide high-touch, holistic retention outreach and support to a cohort of undergraduate students and connect them with the appropriate resources to increase their likelihood of personal and academic success.
- Utilize designated technology to maintain accurate records of outreach and student meetings for departmental reporting. Monitor student progress and utilize markers such as alerts, probationary statuses, account holds, and low midterm grades to identify student retention concerns and facilitate successful interventions.
- Participate in centralized retention initiatives such as calling campaigns, tabling at student success events, campus wide outreach events, and supporting students via live chat.
- Collaborate and coordinate communication with an assigned academic college or program to support the unique needs of their population. May include preparing and presenting workshops, coordinating small events, or acting as a learning community stakeholder.
- Participating in ongoing professional development, including identification of supplemental resources and/or student advocacy as appropriate. Populations may include first-generation, international, Hispanic, non-traditional, military-affiliated, and transfer students.
- Other administrative responsibilities intended to accomplish individual, academic college, and departmental goals.

Preferred Qualifications
- The diverse nature of this position requires a professional with knowledge of and/or experience with student development program on a college campus.
- A Master's degree in counseling, higher education, or another related field is strongly preferred.
