Unleash Your Passion for Swimming and Help Shape the Next Generation of Athletes

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Swim Coach to join our Eaton High School swim program. As a key member of our coaching team, you will play a vital role in helping our student-athletes reach their full potential. If you're passionate about swimming and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young athletes, we want to hear from you!

Reports To: Athletic Director

Responsibilities:
-Support the Head Swim Coach in coordinating the swimming program at the High School level
-Develop and implement practice programs to promote individual and team development
-Instruct student-athletes on swim techniques, rules, and strategies
-Assess student-athlete skills and provide constructive feedback
-Maintain equipment, supplies, and uniforms, as directed by the Head Coach
-Serve as a liaison between the swim program, staff, administration, and the public
-Support the planning and execution of practices and matches
-Model sportsmanship behavior and maintain a high level of professionalism
-Assist the Head Coach with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and distributing eligibility forms

Qualifications:
-Experience as a swimming participant or coach
-High School Diploma/GED
-CPR Certification
-CHSAA test and regulation
-Concussion Education
-Mental Health testing
-Mandatory Reporting
-Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, Athletic Director, and other stakeholders
